The James Brand Ellis Slim G10 Coyote tan Serrated is a later release of the Ellis and Elko family. It retains the same design as the traditional Ellis but the scissors have been removed to create the sleekest and simplest Ellis ever. The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 steel, which is a popular stainless steel that is easy to sharpen. The start of the blade is serrated. With this serrated edge you can easily cut through tougher materials. The back lock has been replaced by a slipjoint. This ensures that the blade does not lock completely when opened, allowing you to carry this knife almost anywhere. The James Brand has added a shield to the handle, this gives the authentic feel of a traditional gentleman’s knife. As on the original knife, the backspacer functions as a mini pry-bar. The handle is made of G10, which is a strong water-resistant plastic. The handle is equipped with a deep-carry pocket clip, making the knife easy to carry.
